בודק הונאות (ScamSnap) בודק הודעות חשודות ישירות על הטלפון שלכם. תוכן ההודעות שאתם בודקים לא נשלח אלינו ולא נשמר אצלנו. כשבהודעה יש קישור, רק כתובת האתר נשלחת לבדיקה (פירוט בהמשך). אין באפליקציה פרסומות או כלי מעקב.
טקסט שאתם מדביקים נבדק על המכשיר לפי כללים מובנים (לחץ זמן, בקשות תשלום או פרטים, קישורים חשודים ועוד). הטקסט עצמו לא יוצא מהטלפון.
כשבהודעה יש קישור או כתובת אתר, האפליקציה בודקת אותו גם ברשת כדי לזהות אתרי הונאה מוכרים:
אם תעלו צילום מסך, הטקסט שבו נקרא על המכשיר בעזרת מנוע קריאת טקסט (Tesseract). התמונה עצמה לא נשלחת לשום מקום. בפעם הראשונה האפליקציה מורידה את מנוע הקריאה וקובצי שפה מאתר הורדות ציבורי (jsDelivr), ולכן נדרש חיבור לאינטרנט. כמו בכל הורדה מהאינטרנט, האתר רואה את כתובת ה-IP של המכשיר.
אם תפעילו הגנה אוטומטית, תתבקשו לאשר לאפליקציה "גישה להתראות". כך היא יכולה לבדוק את הטקסט של הודעות נכנסות ולהשמיע צליל עדין כשנראה שמדובר בהונאה. הבדיקה נעשית על המכשיר בלבד. האפליקציה לא שומרת את ההודעות, לא שולחת אותן ולא משתמשת בהן לשום מטרה אחרת. אפשר לבטל את הגישה בכל רגע בהגדרות הטלפון.
באייפון אפשר להפעיל את בודק הונאות כמסנן הודעות SMS מאנשים שלא שמורים באנשי הקשר. iOS מעביר לאפליקציה רק את הטקסט ומספר השולח של ההודעה, והבדיקה נעשית על המכשיר בלבד. הודעות שנראות כהונאה מועברות לתיקיית "זבל". שום דבר לא נשלח אלינו.
כשאתם לוחצים "שיתוף התוצאה", האפליקציה יוצרת תמונה של התוצאה על המכשיר ופותחת את תפריט השיתוף של הטלפון. לפני יצירת התמונה מוסתרים מספרי טלפון, מספרים ארוכים (חשבונות, כרטיסים, קודים), כתובות מייל, השם שאחרי פנייה כמו "שלום" והחלק של הקישור שאחרי שם האתר. אתם בוחרים אם ולמי לשלוח.
כדי לדעת כמה בדיקות נעשות ואיפה לשפר, אחרי כל בדיקה האפליקציה שולחת לשרת שלנו רק: סוג הבדיקה (הודעה/קישור/קריפטו), התוצאה (למשל "הונאה"), שפת האפליקציה, סוג המכשיר (אייפון/אנדרואיד) ואיך הבדיקה התחילה. בלי תוכן ההודעה, בלי קישורים, בלי מזהה משתמש ובלי מעקב. הרשומות נשמרות ב-Cloudflare לזמן קצר. אפשר לכבות את זה בתחתית המסך הראשי ("שליחת ספירת שימוש אנונימית").
התשלום על מנוי מעובד ישירות על ידי Google Play או App Store. אנחנו לא רואים פרטי כרטיס אשראי. כדי לבדוק אם המנוי פעיל, האפליקציה משתמשת בשירות RevenueCat, שמקבל מידע טכני על הרכישה (סטטוס המנוי ומזהה אנונימי) לפי מדיניות הפרטיות שלו.
אנחנו לא אוספים שם, מספר טלפון, אנשי קשר, מיקום או תוכן הודעות, לא יוצרים פרופיל של משתמשים ולא משתפים מידע עם מפרסמים.
רוב המידע נשמר רק בטלפון שלכם, ומחיקת האפליקציה מוחקת אותו. כדי למחוק גם את המידע הטכני על המנוי (סטטוס המנוי והמזהה האנונימי ב-RevenueCat):

ScamSnap (בודק הונאות) checks suspicious messages right on your phone. The messages you check are never sent to us or stored by us. When a message contains a link, only the website address is sent for checking (details below). The app has no ads or tracking tools.
Text you paste is checked on your device against built-in rules (time pressure, requests for payment or details, suspicious links and more). The text itself never leaves your phone.
When a message contains a link or website address, the app also checks it online to spot known scam sites:
If you upload a screenshot, its text is read on your device with a text-recognition engine (Tesseract). The image itself is never sent anywhere. The first time, the app downloads the engine and language files from a public download site (jsDelivr), so an internet connection is needed. As with any download, that site sees your device's IP address.
If you turn on automatic protection, you'll be asked to allow "notification access". This lets the app check the text of incoming messages and play a gentle sound when one looks like a scam. The check runs on your device only. The app does not store, send or use these messages for any other purpose. You can turn off the access at any time in your phone's settings.
On iPhone you can turn on ScamSnap as a filter for SMS messages from people who are not in your contacts. iOS gives the app only the message text and sender number, and the check runs on your device only. Messages that look like scams are moved to the "Junk" folder. Nothing is sent to us.
When you tap "Share result", the app makes a picture of the result on your device and opens your phone's share menu. Before the picture is made, phone numbers, long numbers (accounts, cards, codes), e-mail addresses, the name after a greeting such as "Hi" and the part of a link after the site name are hidden. You choose whether and with whom to share it.
To know how many checks are made and what to improve, after each check the app sends our server only: the kind of check (message/link/crypto), the result (e.g. "scam"), the app language, the device type (iPhone/Android) and how the check started. No message content, no links, no user ID and no tracking. These records are kept briefly at Cloudflare. You can turn this off at the bottom of the main screen ("Send anonymous usage counts").
Subscription payments are processed directly by Google Play or the App Store. We never see card details. To check whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives technical purchase information (subscription status and an anonymous ID) under its own privacy policy.
We don't collect your name, phone number, contacts, location or message content, we don't build user profiles, and we don't share data with advertisers.
Most information stays only on your phone, and deleting the app removes it. To also delete the technical subscription information (subscription status and the anonymous RevenueCat ID):
The app is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from minors.
